How the editorial room works

Follow the chapter from upload to Conductor brief: one interactive pass through the full review pipeline.

Step 01

Upload or paste the chapter you want diagnosed.

Start with a DOCX chapter, a pasted excerpt, or a full manuscript. Editorial Conductor extracts the text, scopes the chapter, and prepares it for the staged review.

Frequently Asked

Can I upload a full manuscript?

Yes. Upload a longer .docx and the pipeline operates across all chapters sequentially. Each chapter costs one credit. Treat full-manuscript runs as batch work: they take longer but give you a complete picture.

What file formats do you accept?

Upload .docx or paste your text directly on the Analyze page. If your draft is in Scrivener or another tool, export to Word for the cleanest extraction.

Do I need a series bible?

No. Standalone novels and discovery drafts run fine without one. Add a bible when explicit canon checks matter; that is when continuity findings become highest leverage against hidden contradictions.

What if a job fails?

Credits are only charged after a successful analysis. If a job fails for any reason, you keep your credit. Retry from the dashboard or contact support if a run stays stuck.

How long does an analysis take?

A single chapter typically finishes in 3-4 minutes. Full manuscripts scale with chapter count. You can monitor status from the dashboard in real time.

Hi! I'm the Editorial Conductor assistant. Ask me anything — how the agents work, what a credit gets you, how series bibles work, or anything else about the product.
